why would the axle be hitting the sway bar end link?

Default why would the axle be hitting the sway bar end link?
there isnt very much clearance down there and it makes a rattling noise everytime i hit a bump. The end link looks stable but it is much closer to the axle on the driver side than the passenger side. Btw, i am talking about the rear of the car

Default as far as i know they are oem. but not exactly sure. its really obnoxious.
should i take the wheel off for a better look?

ive had the OEM metal links for several years and never had clearance issues...

Default Are you sure its the end link?
What shocks and springs are you using? With some spring / shock combos, the spring perch can make contact with the axel.

May be a long shot, but worth checking

Is your subframe or link bent? Or is the ball joint worn out on it?

i haven't been able to tell if anything is bent yet. hope its not the freaking sub frame. good grief

stock suspension. i'm pretty sure its the end link. the vertical bar that the sway bar connects to.
