Are people still liking the DICE controller the best? It sounds good but is it reliable?

Anybody have experience with the USASPEC Ipod adaptor? http://www.installer.com/item/displa...php?it=PA11VW6

I have one sitting in my car that was supposed to be for my wife's 2003 Passat but the installer said it would not work - not sure why - maybe he didn't know what he was talking about.. but I don't know why he would say that if it wasn't true b/c he made no money by not installing it.....

TIA
