Will I have to do a lot of adjustments to keep the RH from 700/800 to 800/1000?

assuming the same spring lengths, you should be able to calculate the approximate change in
ride height. it helps if you know the corner weights of your car too.
800 lb/in spring rate means 800 lbs will compress the spring 1 inch. likewise 1000 lb/in springs will take 1000 lbs to compress 1 inch.
take the rear of the car for example. say we have a 3800 lb car w/ 60/40 weight split. this means 1520lbs over the rear axle or 760 on each wheel. this will compress your 800 lb/in spring roughtly 1" while only compressing your 1000 lb/in spring .76" so the rear of the car may be 1/4" higher than before with no changes to the spring perches.
only thing is that a change on the spring perch will not have the exact same change in ride height since it is somewhat inboard of the hub/wheel. i think i've seen some posts regarding the relationship of spring perch movement vs. actual ride-height, but that 1/4" difference in spring compression will be a bit larger. maybe 1/3"?
anyway, you get the idea, but it should be enough to calcualte the difference in spring compression and use that for a starting point for how you adjust the perches for your new springs.
