Default Woot! My Buehn Engineering K04.24's ;) BWW

Jacob sent my K04.24's out the other day. The options list was a bit more extensive than my K16, including the trick
"Funky" compressor inlets, Porting of both the WG and turbine inlet and clearancing of the turbine housing.

K24vsK16 compressor maps. Notice the similarities in low rpm performance (surge lines are almost identical) also note the marked flow increase of the K24 wheel at above .15M^3/s.

Bottom line: 10-15% greater flow with the same driveability I now enjoy

Default wow. so now the ko4.24 is the way to go? i am at a cross roads with the

turbos right now and still deciding on which way to go. all these different options drive me crazy. what about the rs6's? would those have even more top end than the 24's?
TIA

Default It took a while, but he's a resourceful fella.

Give him a little lead-time and he can come through

Default RS6 and K16 are nice, but this is a pretty significant step up in flow.

I'd say from the maps: at least 50hp above K16/RS6 with K16 low end and even more midrange.

Default Yea, pretty excited :)

I really like what I have now though, but man... that K24 map is just so irresistible.

Default little explanation please? about the inlets.

what is actually done to them, its hard to tell from pictures. also, what is the benefit from such modification?
