same on both - as in quite a bit of WOT, but the 91 software is reading on the computer with substantially worse gas mileage...don't think that it's enough of a difference to balance out the price of the 100 for everyday driving, but was wondering if anyone else experiences anything similar...or is it just something flakey with switching ECU's or software or something.

in general you'll get better mileage out of higher octane, but not that much better.

Default probably something with the software

My average reads 17.5mpg, running 93 or 100, even if I reset it before each tank. I never tried 91, except maybe in rental cars and trucks

Maybe the 91 ECU is programmed to run richer.

Default race gas in general has more hydrocarbon content per volume than pump gas

91 in the summer in California gets about ~21%fillers
