For those who've been on any of the circuits below, do the track layouts look pretty close? I used track maps found online as a guide, but want to make sure they are at least somewhat correct.

no that would be a marriage shortening adventure...
my wife allows and supports me having a race car but NOT taking our expensive leased street car on the track. Other than the danger to the car, the horrible abuse that I'd wreak on the tires/brakes wouldn't be worth it with a relatively cheapo race car sitting on there.
I'd sure love to though...it would be alot better all-around car to enjoy on the track than the race prepped Civic. Wish I could afford a 911 race car :-(
Figure it's the kind of car most guys would rarely go over 7/10ths in. I watched an HPDE at Sears last time where there were 3 996s on the track and one guy seemed to really be driving smoothly and quickly and the other two were a bit less smooth and not as fast. Think you really need the 030 suspension though, the street suspension isn't ideal for track events.

I understand. The car I tried to follow was an air cooled turbo 4 wheel drive that could go so fast
that it was only the skill and constraint of the driver that made it seem like effortless railroad track moves as he nailed the apex of each turn and made me feel like a sad want-a-be racer in a family car - my chip, coil-overs and tires just allowed me to stay near enough to watch and be humbled.

use the layers luke and...
play around with opacity and the feathering tools. The key to good photoshop is a firm grasp of layers and structuring your files so you can easily explore many creative options.
