There is a mic near the moonroof **** and the speaker is in the driver door.
the mic is complete crap, however.
quickaudi did a custom install for his phone (which has now been replaced anyway). the mic was terrible. He was able to replace it with a better one, if i remember correctly.
fwiw, the mic built into the B7 cars is fantastic.
