Default X-Post: UPDATE on clutch issue is not to due to VAST's clutch kit

First tried the cermanic clutch and resurf fy
now the lwfw and kevlar clutch.. (which both are great)

and same problem so it is not VAST's clutch kit which is giving me the problems..

Its either..
1. internally messed up slave cylinder..
2. or a bad TOB..

Place your bets.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2511302.phtml">old post..</a></li></ul>

Default Did the original clutch that failed when this all started get very stiff where you had to push super

hard on it? If so then your problem may be like mine, the beefy looking Clutch fork has been bent. Mine looked identical on visible inspection but the divot did look a tad bit deeper, maybe 1-2mm. If you don't want to pull the tranny to replace the arm, which is cheap BTW, you could have the slave cylinder shaft extended to test the theory. I don't really think its one isolated bad slave as I put two new ones in my car chasing this issue. If extending the rod a few MM's gives you your pedal back then it may hold up, however since the metal is fatigued there it may stretch more. This is why I just did pull #3 rather than fabricating a link extension.

Default The stock flywheel will only bolt on in one position, right...

or the holes won't line up. Perhaps the new lwfw holes dont have this "key'd", so perhaps it's not aligned properly and it's putting a side load and rubbing on the input shaft or something.

Just thinking out loud....
