Xenon lights
Last night with 1800 miles on my car and maybe 3 hours of actual use,one of my xenons turned a weird shade of light purple. This is my first car with xenons ,so I was wondering if anybody knows whats going on-bulb,electrical whatever. The dealer said he would have to make some calls and get back to me.Any ideas?

Probably a phase issue...
... xenons are a pulsed quantum device, so electrons shoot through one end, the quantum level inside the chamber steps up a notch, and out pops a photon. What you're seeing is a change in the phase (frequency) of the light so that a significantly higher amount of ultraviolet is released than light in the visible spectrum.
It's not a problem and will likely even out. Let me guess, you've only been having your xenons on for short periods of time and the ballast's first couple burns were only five minutes or so, right?
Just drive with your xenons on for a few days and report back. This was common with the early Litronic systems also, I had a right lamp on my 1997 993 Carrera 4S replaced due to a phasing prolbem in the xenon system due to interrupted power somewhere in the ballast.
