xpost: are the paint codes for the a4 and s4 the same for silver??

Yes, it was neat. I am waiting for the new O2 sensor to arrive, at the moment. Do you know what
size the O2 sensor is? I need to buy an O2 sensor wrench, so I can get it out without messing with the shields. I've had them out before, but always while dropping the exhaust, so I could use normal open end wrenches.

7/8 box wrench . But you have to cut the wires. Make sure you use a 6 point!!!!
When you install it, you can tighten it enough with the open end of the wrench.
Of course, if you have the right socket it is usually easier, but I've stripped many O2 sensors with that damn socket. The 6 point box wrench is the best way to remove it, IMO.

Angles are wrong for a box wrench, unless very oddly shaped with an offset!
I'm gonna try the O2 sensor socket (with split down the side for the wire), I don't think the sensor will be hard to remove, it was out last September.
That;s when I smeared Silicone all over it, so it would not seize up in the threads.
;-)
(no, I did not really use silicone, I used Oil!)
(Just kidding again!)
