Default XR vs. ABT - airflow

I never did post this from my prior XR vs. ABT comparison, but here it is.

Interesting.. But was there any doubt that a extreme RACE chip wasn't higher than the ABT prog?

It means much more power :-) and also that ABT does not take advantage of 100 octane

Probably not, but I was surprised at HOW much faster, and the huge diff in timing advance

Default Yup.. I imagine you were running high octane gas??

Only way to get that much timing.. Well that and it's a requirement with the XR chip..

Yep, 100 octane for both chips.

Default Read his writing. AMS does not adapt to full 100, it adapts better then running 94

But there is no way the system will adapt to the advanced timing that the XR uses. No way. AMS can maybe see better results on 97, but 100 is a waste.

So what Octane does Abt take advantage of?
