is the y-pipe and the bi-pipe different or just different names?

Y-Pipe is pre-turbo's feeds air from the airbox into the inlet side of the turbo's- ->
The bi-pipe is post turbos...the charged air exits the IC's and passes through the bi-pipe as it enters the throttle body...
Y-Pipe is ontop of the motor...silver.
Bi-Pipe is mounted to the front of the of the motor in an upsidedown Y configuration...if your car is stock you don't have one. You have two plastic pipes that meet at the throttlebody in the the throttlebody boot, in the same configuration as the bi-pipe...
