I was annoyed by how small screen of rmc system sucks for years and finally planned to convert it to mib2 bigger screen version. On this purpose I did some research and bought a whole set of mib2 including 8" screen, headunit and radio control panel on ebay. But the thing is, there is no wiring, and the wiring of my RMC is not even close to fit on the mib2. I viewed some posts and knew that Kufatec has a wiring kit bit only for 2015- a6. However, I saw several companies succeeded in putting mib2 in 2012 and 2013 models. I don't think installation and component protection is a problem because I converted my old instrument cluster to the s6 one successfully and it works well. So here are the problems:
1. Where can I get wiring for the mib2 kit I got?
2. I dont need navigation or cameras to be actually working because I can add carplay after, So will Kufatec's wiring work?
3. What else should I do besides component protection unlock? Has anyone succeeded in converting in models before 2015?
