2016 A6 TDI Prestige
Hey Guy’s and Gal’s,
Had to share.....
Just scored a 2016 A6 TDI Presige CA car at an Audi dealer in NorCal with 25 miles on OD.
$71,245 MSRP...Got a 25% discount + an extra $1,000 for Audi brand loyalty....
Final price: $52,433.75 + tax and license..
Had one on order for a 2016 pick up at factory in Germany.......and then diesel-gate🤬
I know it’s a two year old car but paying almost 20K less so I thought what the hell.....😍

Hey All!
Just signed up and happy there is a forum like this!
Just saw that chart and was plenty annoyed! I'm t1 and and am paying 2.9%, but, I bought might in March and see this is for April. I hope that is the reason and not that I didn't push them hard enough on this.
I purchased a 2016 A6 TDI 3.0 Premium Plus, S-Line with 19" black optic package. LED headlights, and most of the Prestige features except the seats (which is a big loss, I would have liked the better seats!).
But, I can't complain...It was a $67,500 MSRP that they sold for $39,500. I went in to buy a used 2016 and ended up with this, so, not a bad day
No additional fees at all except for taxes and registration which was $38 I believe. I'm in the NY suburbs. The closest I've seen is $43,000. Although, I've seen ones at almost full retail as well.
My bigger question is what you guys/gals think of the car so far?
When I test drove it, I loved it! But, driving it more and more I feel as though the transmission isn't shifting so smoothly at lower speeds/RPM and that the ride is a bit rough on roads that aren't so smooth. I realize that is a complaint of the sport suspension all around. I'm wondering if the very low profile tires are making it worse and I'm considering changing the size...although, not sure Audi will go with that in regard to their warranty coverage.
Speaking of which, did you guys do an extended warranty or a maintenance plan? I like to do as much of the maintenance I can on my own, but, the diesel engine and European everything is very new to me. So, will likely at least do a longer or better warranty.
Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts!
