2018 A6/S6 held until official release
The 2018 A6/S6's have not been officially released yet and my '18 S6 that I ordered is being held at port in the US until the release happens.
Anyone know when they will be "officially" released? A few weeks I can handle, a few months may be a deal breaker....

My old B8 S4 was delivered to me on July 27th.
You might want to call AOA.

From what I understand....
... there is a very large supply of unsold 2017 S6's in the U.S. I was visiting my dealer last week and drove a 2017 S6 in Tornado Grey. They had four on the lot and money on the hood. The GM thinks it will get even better. He was saying that the oversupply will slow down the 2018 flow. They were eager to move S6's..
The new Matador red (really a deep orange) is so beautiful.

Yea, I have seen some crazy discounts on '17 S6's. I couldn't find any around me that were configured the way I wanted unfortunately. I'm hoping for some decent incentives when the '18s are released, but not holding my breath.
Is that tornado grey that you drove a contender for you?

Yes indeed....
I have had three Daytona Grey S-cars and it's time for a (slight) change.
Although, if I were ordering, I would probably go with Matador Red, which is a lovely deep orange color. Glacier White is always beautiful too, as the added glitter over the Ibis White keeps looking good, hiding swirls and catching the light in fantastic ways. My wife's new A6 is Glacier White.

When I bought my 16 last year in April...there were so few in LA anywhere. Funny that there is overstock...I couldnt get a great deal as there were so few available. :/
