Audi A6 3.0 2016 DPF Failure
Hello,
I just bought myself a Audi A6 3.0 TDI 2016 272bhp driven 57.000km.
I started it today, only one day after i got it, and now the Particular filture warning light came on. I Think this is way to early. Its just had the 60.000km service done by Audi.
There is no warrenty on the car...
What do you guys think about this? Any other had any problems with DPF on this low milage?
Tage

Are you in the US? If the recall was performed then this would still be covered under warranty. Since your speaking in km’s then I’m assuming not but they may still have a warranty extension where u are due to the whole diesel scandal.

My '14's DPF needed to be replaced at about 70k and before the fix, got the fix 2 weeks ago and now the NOX sensor failed, if I didn't have an extended they were going to charge me for it, $989., Is it not part of the extra covered emissions system? Now after the fix it runs rough, lost power and sounds louder...not sure about the mileage or DEF usage yet. Not sure if we would want to keep these cars if these failures are going to keep occuring and not be covered, I'll have to look into it.

I am at 87k miles on my TDi and have not had a single issue yet. I am dreading getting the “fix”. I have the feeling that I will have sensors and filters going bad left and right once I get the fix.
