C7.5 S6 Exhaust H-Pipe Mod
Finally, I spend $300, put the h-pipe to replace the "suitcase" resonator.
The result is amazing!
My car is 2017 C7.5 S6, Canadian version, which means you cannot get the sport exhaust, but only the standard version exhaust.
After I did this mod, the exhaust note is louder Obviously, and finally I could get those "bangs and pops" sounds when I using DYNAMIC mode ( or set the engine/transmission and engine sound in DYNAMIC in INDIVIDUAL ) and there is no drone at all. So it means every C7.5 S6 has different ECU setting as the C7's. No matter there is sport exhaust or standard exhaust, C7.5 could do the "bangs and pops" sound when release the gas pedal at 2800+ RPM and downshift. So for the standard exhaust, the resonator kills all the "bangs and pops" sound.

This if you know you may be changing the mufflers later on,it is the best choice . Pipe diameter is wide as well - 2.76"
