Default C7 S6 turbo swap step by step? DIY?

Does anyone have a write up on this.
I have all the bolts to the turbos loose but I can't get them out. I'm havi g some clearance issues.

Something tells me I have to take the entire front end off to get to these 4 bolts holding these stupid actuators out of the way.

if anyone has done this please let me know.

Russell

pics for clicks.

I've seen this post but it doesn't really give any info on the installation part.
Putting it in service mode to remove the stuff in the way of the turbo manifold is my buggest hurdle to overcome.

Sounds like you might be over your head.. personally, I wouldn't risk screwing with thousands of dollars in new turbos if I didn't know how to get the originals off. erWin is a good alternative if you want to risk it.

I'm good to go. I have only just stared to start disassembling everything, only have about 3 hours into it.

I was just ignorant to think the turbos would just come right out. Lol I figured audi would have some road blocks here and there. No problem.

I used to be a mechanic and did motor swaps, tranny rebuilds and some indepth stuff befire i became a Morthage Banker. No job to big as of yet.
I just wanted to get more done the first day. Haha

thanks for the insight though.
pics for an update...

both turbos are toast.
No i see where my oil has been going. 1 quart every 2000 miles was a little much

There are turbo swap posts over on Audizine.com. They might have a DIY there.
