Stock Turbos are out. RS7 Turbos should be going in this weekend.

May I ask how the turbos blew?. I am considering purchasing an S6 and doing an APR flash, but was wondering what the boost limits are on the stock S6 turbos.

It is a 2013 S6 & there was a 21F2 service campaign, but not sure if the update was performed.

One of the shafts of one turbo broke in half destroying the intake turbine on the turbo. it shot pieces all through out the intake luckily contained by the intercooler.

Everyone I have talked to said this was a freak incident, it appears i had a bad oil seal on my drivers side turbo and it was putting added work on the passenger side turbo cause it to over boost. that is what I have gotten from the many different people I have talked to.

I did have moderate oil loss and never looked into it. 1 quart every 1500 miles.

I would not worry about this happening to your car.
