Battery replacement 2013 Audi S6?
Hi everyone,
Wanted to ask if anyone has replaced their own battery. Also if there is a thread on this subject please point me in the right direction, thanks.

I haven't yet but understand that the only additional thing you need to do is let the car know a new battery has been installed. You can do this using vag-comm or maybe other diagnostic tools as well.

Yeah, it's ideal to tell the car it has a new battery via the VCDS tool.

Same question as OP. My battery is practically dead after 3 years. OP, do you also have dynamic ride control? Per Audi repair manual the air reservoir must be deflated and Audi software is necessary to inflate it again although I am not sure I understand why if it is just a reservoir.

Replaced it today - air reservoir can actually be moved aside - no need to deflate.
Then used VDCS to update battery serial number but it should have been fine without adaption also as the battery size didn't change.
