Comfort Seats

Any S6 owner with the comfort seat option can post a pic?

IIRC Randy in Chicago and Deerhunter have them.

Nice pics. How is the massage function of the seats? Is it a pounding type feel, kneading, or just a vibrating? Really thinking of upgrading to the S6, but find it hard to spend 2k on seat upgrade unless they are truly worth it. The only thing I would really want them for is for the venitaltion. If you could do it all over again, would you still purchase them?

i like the functions of them and miss having venilated seats in the summer, but the sport seat imo look so much better.

The diamond stitched seats are UNREAL. Totally make the interior of the car. I think if the options were switched, and they were a $2k option, I'd spend it.

I really love the stitching on the sport seats and the shape of them. As much as I'd like to have the massage and venting, I'd rather have the sport seats even if the comfort seats were a no-cost option - or as B8S410 said, even if the options were switched, I'd pay to have the sport seats.

Although functionality wise the Comfort Seats are the better option, but the diamond leather sticking on the default make the car totally badass...I'm in in for the badassness...

The "comfort" seats are different in at least the following specific ways from the sport seats:
  • 22-way configurable vs 12-way.
  • Ventilation, which means they are perforated too.
  • Massage function.
  • Memory for both the driver and front passenger.
  • Cost $2K extra.
  • No diamond stitching, and can only be had in black (unless you go exclusive). To many, these may look plainer than the diamond stitched ones.

I think if I were to do it again, I might consider passing on the comfort seats, but it'll be a close call. I find both the ventilation and massage features to be not as great as I was expecting. You barely feel the ventilation, although it does have the amusing side affect of circulating the new car smell around the cabin. The massage function is rather meh too. Depending on how OCD you are, you might notice the tiny dust/dirt particles that keep getting stuck in the perforations.
