Ebay downpipes, great decision

Ebay downpipes, great decision
So I did a thing, and got the 3" catless downpipes from Russia off Ebay.
4.0L TFSI Downpipe Audi S6 S7 S8 RS6 RS7 V2A C7 CatLess BiTurbo 12 13 14 15 | eBay
From Russia with Love
Stock DPs with restrictive Cats
They were 850 plus 120 shipping.
They got here to Virginia Beach in way less time that stated.
The quality if the welds was spot on.
The fitment was perfect.
They sound great on the car. I can hear the turbo spool up, and couldn't before.
I notice a nice increase in torque from just the DPs and I haven't gotten the Stage 2 APR tune yet.
I will post a video of how they sound, and once I get the car tuned to stage 2, I'll post a video of the Dyno and numbers.
Right now I am stage 1 93 octane APR tuned.
I was skeptical at first but glad I went this route vs 1500 plus for Alpha, APR, Milltek or one like that.
Only thing I had to buy was 6 bolts and nuts to attach the Midpipe.

Do you have the S8 or an S7?
And I'm totally down to meet up.
Do you ever come to the beach?

The S6 and S8 have the same exact part numbers for left and right downpipes.
Right 4G0254252LX 940
Left 4G0254202NX 940
The midpipes are different but this set bolts right up to them with no problem.
Bring your S8 down and we will pout them on.

Any update on this please?
Still debating myself if i would go catless, be the current cats are so restrictive. Labor time should be all that hard i assume .
The only thing i wonder is, do you really need a tune to write out the stock cats or won't these in combination with the posted O2 sensor extentions won't throw any CEL errors? If they won't throw an error, i'm in for a pair of the ceramic coated DP's .
All info is welcome .

Those DP's look great for flea-bay specials! I'd definitely think twice about running catless DP's on an OEM tune.. The tune is doing much more than just turning off your CEL's from o2 sensors. Boost creep is an issue you'll run into if you're running catless DP's and no tuning. FYI

Update
Hey everyone.
The quality of these downpipes is excellent.
The fitment is perfect.
Install took about 2 hours on ramps not even using a lift.
I was stage 1 APR when I installed them.
I did use 2 - O2 bung extenders for each downstream O2 and had zero codes for a week.
I did feel a difference with just the downpipes.
I also felt a difference when I got the stage 2 tune on top of just the DPs.
I am scheduled for a dyno in a week and a half to compare gains. We also found out that you can go 90% throttle from 1500 RPM and kick it to WOT at 3000 RPM to keep it in 4th gear for the entire pull. Wish I would have known that when we did the dyno at Stage 1.
As far as sound, it has gotten exponentially better, no drone while cruising, it's actually tame in drive, and when you put it in sport it sounds like a different animal. Chris from Richmond heard them last Saturday, he can vouch for the sound.
if anyone else has any questions please ask away.
I guaranty these are just as good if not better than some of the way more expensive DPs on the market. You wont regret getting them.
