Looks like these cars are pretty much cleared from the lots.
Not so much "cleared from the lots" as "coming back into inventory" after the PODS repairs. I think many were sitting at the port and were just fixed recently and are en-route to dealerships.

If this is true, it's great news.

My local Audi sales guy says he can get me $20k off an S6. Not sure I am going to fully trust that number, but if I can get $17-18k off of an $80k MSRP, that's a pretty decent deal.

Yes, between all port locations. Between dealer inventory and port it’s under 330 cars. Many of these are already presold

there is no link, I work for them so can look at inventory nationwide

There are a lot of S6's for sale nationwide and the dealers are anxious to sell them. I just picked up a black prestige for 25% off msrp. It's at the port right now and should be at the dealer later this week where they will do the air bag fix. I'm weak. I couldn't resist a German muscle car at that kind of discount. Generally just trying to get a 5% off on an Audi is like pulling teeth.

Congrats.

I am only able to get around 22% up here on the Northeast. Still holding out for 25% off.

Thanks. These discounts are actually kind if misleading. I got a full 25% off the new car but they gave me a thousand less than I wanted on my trade in. So if you look at it that way I gave up 1.25%. All depends how you look at it. They wouldn't budge when I pushed for more on my trade in. I thought the deal was too good to walk away for a thousand dollars so I caved. Still saved $21,000 on a 84,000 car. Substantial to say the least. No buyer remorse here.
