Default How good is Audi CPO warranty?

I'm new to forum and looking to buy a used S6. I'd prefer a CPO car from dealer if the price is right. Years ago I had a bad experience with the BMW CPO warranty where there were several items that had a problem and I was then told the CPO warranty didn't cover them. I see the Audi plan has $85 deductible and is tranferrabel but I'd like to know if anyone has had much experince or heard anything about it that they can pass along to me. Thanks!

So far I haven't had to use my CPO warranty so the car is just that good! LOL! Have @43k miles on it. All I've done was routine service, brake pads (went aftermarket with EBC pads) and tires. I feel that Audi has the best CPO coverage out there. Dealer service is pretty strong at my dealer in NJ. Where ya from?

I also live in NJ. No dealer or Audi specialist will just put new brake pads on the car because the factory calls for new rotors - an additional $1600 or so. They say that the rotors should not be cut because they are built to scour and the cut rotors would be too thin. May I know where you had it done?

My rotors were fine. Had a small lip on the edge but otherwise were perfect. The pins were a pain in the *** and my guy wasn't to thrilled doing the job. I've been using them for years for tires and general maintenance for my other cars. You can call and ask him. Freehold Tire in Freehold NJ. I'm not sure where in NJ you are. You can talk to Joe or Eddie there and just say Anthony with the S6 referred you.

A good independent knows when to deviate from what the dealer says. I've had cars where it's been fine to simply change pads and not mess with rotors
