Mine were 396/398 for front/rear respectively.

There's an AZ thread on this topic that's much longer and several people have stated their factory settings.

I used VCDS to modify my settings last night; lowering 15mm. As others noted, a few hiccups in the inst from OP at AZ, but easy to figure out. Worked perfectly though 15mm might be a bit low on Dynamic for my tastes, but looks perfect on Comfort considering you have a cushy ride that still has a nice aggressive stance.

It occurs to me that since the resolution is apparently 1mm, that judicious use of this trick could help in corner balancing the car.

I'll try that out when mine comes in...in a few months!

I messed with this using the factory scan tool in January of 13. I found it best to do it on the alignment rack..my bay was uneven and it resulted in lowering my car at an angle. Did it later on the rack and it worked great. The factory tool will spit you out of the test plan if you try anything more than 15. I will try it again using the ross tech...now that I am an independent when I get my new wheels.

So it worked perfectly on my S6. Originals were 394/392. Changed to 412/408. No issues this far, though I wish I could firm the ride up. On this car, with 20'' black optic wheels, what do you guys think on higher in back and lower in front?

I believe the amount lowered front and back is up to the individual owner. Love to see after pics.

I think there should always be a healthy rake sloping down from the back to the front. The car's natural lines follow this as well.

I just tried this on my 2015 S6.
The procedure works fine.
I wanted to try 15mm but it would not accept the number for the LF so I went with 10mm
My stock baseline
LF 400.7
LR 395.1
RF 390.7
RR 378.3

I wonder what determines the baseline? I checked last night before changing anything and ran some errands this morning and the baseline readings were identical. So I'd say they are factory set...perhaps depending on equipment? HUD/ACC/DA/Night vision etc? Seems a bit odd as I can't imagine those options adding much weight.
