Lease return with snow tires?

Lease return with snow tires?
Does anyone know if it matters what tires are on the car when it is turned in at the end of the lease? My summer tires are trashed but winters are almost new. Can I turn in the car with the winter tires on and not be charged for new tires?

They may look the other way or the may say the tires do not meet the basic specs for the car. You may end up buying new tires.
I'm sure this would be outlined in the lease's terms & conditions.

All depends who you get to do the inspection. It’s supposed to have tires equivalent to what it came with. Some guys get **** when checking cars for lease end, others don’t.

Forgot to mention that the tires are exactly the same size as summers and on the same wheels. Not sure how many miles- they have been replaced at different times under tire/wheel warranty.
