I have searched and could not find a thread or information on what the latest MMI version is for my car (2016 S6). I thought a thread with versions and issues that prompt updates would be good to document. I currently have
MHI2-US-AUG11-P0533 and am about to purchase Audi Care and get the 15,000 mile service done. I would like to make sure I have the latest MMI version while I am at the dealer.

Post up your MMI version and issues reported to get updated for any C7 / C7.5.

I'm not sue they will give you the latest MMI version. You might get a fix-version for your model year. I'll check my version today. Doesn't the MMI download & update automatically? (Through the Audi connect)

The MMI does not do automatic downloads via AudiConnect. What it will do is notify you that there is a map update available and let you download that. I don't ever update the maps that way as it only updates the maps it thinks you use. When I get the notification, I go online and download the complete update to SD card and then do the update in the car.

I told them the MMI was sluggish and they said it operated similar to other cars on the lot and did no update. At this point my Google Earth does not load. I have an appointment on Friday due to them over filling my oil. No light, just the message in the oil level window. I will ask them about my Google Earth then and report back.
