New to Audi - Just bought...
Hi all,
I purchased a 2016 S6 CPO until 2022 about a week ago. This is my first Audi; however, my last performance car was a 08' CLK63 AMG. The vehicle has the following options:
2016 Audi S6 4.0T Quattro S Tronic $70,900
Package / Options
Ibis White
Flint Grey interior
Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System $4,900
S6 Prestige Model $4,400
Comfort Seating Package $1,950
Black Optics Package $1,500
Layered Aluminum / Black Wood Inlays $900
Cold Weather Package $500
MSRP $86,170
36,000 miles on it
Some Questions:
1. Anything I need to know right away as far as maintenance, common issues, etc?
2. I noticed a coolant smell yesterday and did some research. Looks like a common issue.
3. I did noticed that the engine is very hot after driving it and opening the hood. I would imagine this is normal, but maybe there are some aftermarket fans or something?
4. Any of you suggest some mods to start with to squeeze some more power out of it for a decent cost?
Thanks guys!

To post and edit - start a new or reply - then scroll down and you will see "go advanced" in a box next to "Post Quick Reply" - click it. There is a box for "Manage Attachemnts" - that is where you upload. It didn't used to be there but now is.

The "rotors" I'm talking about are not on the hub - but rather the style name of the wheel. The Audi rotor wheel is the solid 5 spoke. And the dust would be more the brake pad versus the rotor.

Thanks for the reply.I would change the rotors mostly because I like the look of Drilled rotors. And I know some of the RS series come with drilled rotors I thought that you might have installed rotors from an RS series car that were drilled.

Its hard to find a S6 with the Layered Aluminum / Black Wood inlays with the Comfort Seating. I know I see a lot of questions about the comfort seating vs the sport seats. If you guys want more/closer picture of the seats let me know k.
The reason I opted for the comfort seats was because this car is a very good daily driver. The layered aluminum was different as well and I think it went better with the comfort seats. These seats are like sitting on a couch.
