New Wheels - ABT
The Spec on the wheels are:
21 x 9
Purchased from ABT Sportsline America
Tires on order Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265 / 30 / 21
These seem to be the only tire available in this size.
I am a little concerned with the 30...any one have any thoughts on this? Was considering 265 / 35 / 21 which gives me some more options...like the Continental ContiSport Contacts.
Here are some pics

To keep the rolling diameter as close to stock as possible, the 265/30/21 (or a 255/30/21) tire is the best option. You could try a 35 series tire, but your speedometer will be off by greater amount and you may encounter rubbing issues.
What is your concern with the 30-series tires?

I don't think the 35 to 30 series tires will be a significant decrease in ride quality, especially in the OC. I drive my car all over Los Angeles and it hasn't been an issue. The ride comfort is much better (less harsh) than my old S4 on KW V2 coilovers + 255/35/19, and I attribute a lot of that to the S6's air suspension.
The only time I really notice a difference from my 255/40/19 stock wheels is when I drive through a construction area or hit a pothole (which you do have to be careful for when running lower profile tires).
