Does anyone have pictures / links re the Piano Black trim. I had to order that because of the carbon atlas delay. Dealer said that production might be delayed past April / May with the carbon.

From the S7 forum I know that was the case as of a few weeks ago. Does anyone know if this still true?

Piano black is going to be an excellent replacement. It should be a option with the North American "S" cars.

Not sure. Perhaps they had some supply chain issues and because they are rolling out the RS6, RS7 in Europe and the latter in North America, they have more demand for the same limited supply

Looks nice in pictures, but hopefully it looks and feels better than the black shiny plastic trim on the wheel and that is splashed around the interior (particularly the A8) when the car isn't equipped with piano black. I think that is just black plastic

The only downside might be that it may show swirls/scratches or any imperfections. It will have to be cared for properly.

I absolutelly loved it
It looks very classy and elegant and i wouldnt pick any other trim over piano black

It should look very nice in S6

Looks like a fingerprint/lint magnet. I'm sure it's nice when clean, but like all things black and shiny, good luck keeping it that way.

I ordered piano black as well due to carbon delays. You can see photos if you use the Audi UK configurator. You can also see photos if you search the A6 black edition. It looks great but does anyone know what it is made of? Wood or plastic?
