Hi - I've noticed lately that after opening the trunk on my S6 and closing it again, if I continue to stand behind the car with my key fob, the trunk lid opens again in about a minute. This happens consistently.

I'm certain I'm not pushing the button on the fob or kicking my foot under the car, so there doesn't seem to be a reason for the lid to open.

Any ideas?

This is likely related to the trunk lid foot opener. There's a sensor under the bumper that if you move your foot in a certain way, the lid will open. My 2013 had that feature and the trunk would sometimes open on its own when I walked by the rear fender. I attributed it to an overly sensitive sensor and just had the dealer deactivate it (it didn't work reliably with my foot anyway. Not worth the trouble to troubleshoot it).

Thanks Snagit - that could be it, although it seems to occur after closing the trunk and then standing stationary behind the vehicle for about 45 - 60 sec. I'll do some testing and try to confirm the overly sensitive sensor theory.
