Default Switching from 2013 A6 to S6 - Need Advice

I bought a 2013 A6 S-Line in November, and was "this close" to ordering an S6, but for two reasons (1) I hate to wait, and (2) I had my practical hat on that day, I bought the A6 and traded in my 2010 S5. Loved that car, just loved it.

A fellow who took delivery of an S6 around the same time as me, has ordered an RS5 and will be trading in his S6 in about a month. I have a deposit on his S6, to at least secure my first right of refusal.

I need some advice. The first is wheels. He ordered his S6 with the standard 19" wheels. I'm not a huge fan of them, and prefer the 20" wheels that can be ordered with the car. I already have a set of 19" black Audi Replica wheels w/ Blizzaks on them for the winter.

Would you bother with upgrading the stock 19" wheels to either the 20" S6 wheels, the RS5 wheels, or perhaps even the 20" A7 wheels?

The second issue I have is with the interior trim. I really wanted the carbon trim, but this fellow order his S6 with the silver trim. Should I drop a couple grand and get aftermarket real carbon inlays put in it, or just opt for the $300 carbon tape route? I've seen the work the local shop does, and its pretty flawless, but clearly not genuine carbon. I have the dark wood trim in my A6, and I vowed never to get the A6 with that trim, but having driven it for 3 months, I don't even notice it.

Thanks guys!

Where are you located? I have brand new 20" OEM wheels that came with my car that have essentially zero miles on them (immediately switched out for 19" winter wheels/tires) and I'm open to a deal. PM me if you're interested.

I also have the aluminum trim and am quite happy with it. The OEM carbon fiber looks great, but I wouldn't go to the trouble to do a replacement or tape job.

You can also get OEM carbon inlays through Audi parts.... Solveable.

Also, look into the 20 inch S Rotor wheels.

I've also got a set of OEM 20" wheels with the stock Pzeros, located in the southeast.

Genuine S6 Carbon interior is available through OEMPlus for $3,300: http://www.oemplus.com/carbon-fiber-...it-p-3025.html

Or, OCarbon (http://ocarbon.com) quoted me $800 to do a real carbon inlays (provided I sent them all my interior trim pieces. My dealer quoted me 2.5 hours at a cost of $320 to remove all the interior trim. The biggest cost is in the center console. So to go the OCarbon route, the total cost would be about $1500.

Thoughts?

I'd put your practical hat back on and see how you feel after you've had the car awhile.
