so you guys would reccomend a silver alcantara headliner for the S8 with lunar silver interior? I was about to order it black but the fact that the lower pillar (and carpet) is actually silver makes sense for preferring it silver...what would you reccomend???

I had the same question, I've had an X6 and a CLS with black headliners and I think they show dirt/dust/fingerprints and handprints more than the lighter colors.

I placed my order yesterday with the black headliner because I worried about the cabin being too busy with two silver colors, black dash and wood inlays.

I got black with the lunar because I had grey in my last car and it got dirty very easily. The black looks really good. I've had a lot of people compliment the interior. It's a nice contrast being completely black with light colored seats.

IS THERE ANYBODY WITH (OR KNOWING OF) A PICTURE OF A8 OR S8 WITH BLACK ALCANTARA HEADLINER AND GREY INTERIOR (BEING LUNAR SILVER OR EVEN TITANIUM GRAY)? I HAVE SEARCHED THE INTERNET BUT I COULDN'T FIND ANY OF THE GREY/SILVER LEATHER SEATS AND BLACK ALCANTARA HEADLINER....THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN ADVANCE...

black no matter what. i'm already seeing a crap ton of dirt on my silver/grey headliner.

We have a '14 in Phantom Black, with Lunar Silver. We wanted the lighter interior color to brighten the whole thing up. I love the seats/door panels, but the silver headliner was probably a mistake; I think either black option would be better, and if you can spring for the ($3k!!!!) Alcantara in black you will be very happy. I miss the Alcantara in our RS6... that was a truly exclusive feature that pushed the car into rarified territory. I wish I had opted for that on our new car.
