Hey, you can buy my basically new 2018 instead... and save a bundle. It's in the classifieds. Having said that, I'm probably screwed too if I want to trade it in, which is what I was planning on doing. Damn luck.

I talked to my salesman and he says they are hearing rumors that they won’t start fixing the unsold vehicles until November. Audi wants to fix the cars that are already on the road, honestly that would make sense. I’m not sure I want to wait 4 months, in the meantime I have my eye on a 2018 BMW X6 xDrive i50 which I can pick up for about 75k and the MSRP is 85k. I guess I need to really think this through, not sure what will happen.

November....ugh. I was hoping for a month...tops. We will hopefully be well into the 2019MY for all models by then. Not sure I can hold out until then for a 2018. I bet after the fix there will be a burst of 2018 S6's on dealer lots. Guess we'll see. The 19 RS5 SB keeps looking better and better to me.
