Waiting for the new Audi S6 hoping it may come in November, 2018.

Don't hold your breath. It is more likely to be the end of 2019 before we see a C8 S variant.

I sometimes wonder who is in charge of Audi's global marketing. It has been 2 years now since Audi had any competition for the BMW M550 and it doesn't seem like Audi has any real interest in competing. Maybe they are happy being in 3rd place.

Let's leave Audi where is at now. Its getting worst for Audi. VW is cutting Audi's engineering and going.with the rivals to develop cars into the future. I guess they're losing market share.

If they don't have a new S6 by end of April, I'll wave to one from the window of my Mercedes - though the M550 looks good too.

Not going to happen. Start your search. The M550 looks pretty good but they are changing the engine next year

I guess you are off the MB then. The S and RS variants are not expected until next fall at the earliest.

Why not pick up a 2018 S6? They are still available.
