I am new to Audiworld. Looks like a great resource. I have a question to finalize my RS7 order. In an effort to distinguish my RS7 from the S7, I am considering Daytona Gray Pearl with carbon optic package. I assume the carbon fiber & paint will be very close in color but I think I may like the subtle but menacing combo.

Has anyone seen any pictures of the darker RS7 colors with carbon optic package? Any opinions on how it might look or resale considerations?

I struggled with the same decision, and initially went with the carbon package. I ended up changing to the aluminum optic package for the very reason you mentioned...the Daytona pearl and the carbon fiber are fairly close in color, and I felt the carbon fiber would "get lost". I forget where, but I was able to locate some production line photos of the carbon fiber on a Daytona car. It looked very nice, but didn't pop quite llike the aluminum. I'll try to locate those pictures.

I ordered the 21" titanium, with red brake package. I havent seen a definitive picture of the titanium wheels, though i believe one of the pictures on the Jalopnik review may be them

I'm still waiting for a definitive pic of the titanium wheels as well. I ordered Suzuka Grey, carbon and titanium.

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I'm going to go Daytona Pearl with Titanium wheel (pictured) and Carbon optic. Few more days to stare at pictures before I have to bake the order but I like what I see on the Audi configurator.
