I'm kind of surprised anyone is placing orders for new S7, and not looking at late model used ones.

With the model refresh schedules for MY19, plus the new A9 scheduled for release in 2018, I'd be inclined to wait for a while to see what's coming.

Having said that, the S7 is an awesome car! What spec did you go for?

MY19 losses the V8. Although V6 will get more power I feel hesitant. Now I look at MY19 RS7

I placed the order for European Delivery...I'm worried about getting the first model year of something I might not like...I don't like the styling cues of the new S5SB models and the spy pictures I've seen of the new S7 seem to have those in common...that with the v6 rumors pushed me over the edge...Upgraded to comfort seats from my 2014 Prestige & Midnight Blue from Black etc...

I understand your concern....

I don't dislike the new S/RS5 model, but the move of the RS5 to the new V6 power plant will take a little getting used to.

Audi have not yet announced what the engine specification will be for the S7 and RS7. With the 7 series being a premium model over the 5, I would be very surprised (and disappointed) if the S7 and RS7 both end up with the same power plant as the 5 series.

Traditionally the higher up the value chain you move, the more unique/powerful the drivetrain becomes.
