Congrats! My wife and I picked up our S4 over there last October and had a similar great experience. Our car arrived at our Dealer almost exactly one month after dropping it of in Frankfurt.
Excellent write up! Thanks for taking the time to share with us. I was originally planning on a european delivery for this August to coincide with a family vacation); but, the timing didn't work (plant closes for 3 weeks in August).
That was my experience from a couple years ago. As others have said, they tell you 11-13 weeks, but I received my car on the West Coast in less than 8 weeks. Sure I had to wait almost 2 months after dropping off my car, but I felt the experience was well worth it.

We dropped out car off I Frankfurt on June 29. It was on the boat about a week and a half later and arrived in Davisville on July 23 so about 3 weeks from drop off to US soil....then it sat there for about 4 weeks which was a bummer. The dealer was constantly checking for me. He finally got it late last week and I picked it up yesterday after tinting and the clear bra was put on. Absolutely love it!!!! I got Daytona Grey Pearl, black optics package with the 20" 5 double spoke wheels, sport comfort seats...I really loved the standard seats but wanted ventilation/massage..., night vision, driver assistance, sports diff, cold weather. A few pix. Love it!!!!

Direct quote from my wife who today had my S7 all day :-). She didn't get why I wanted this car for many months and I justified the whole purchase around a great family vacation in Europe. Now that we have it home she loves it....just need to be careful that she doesn't try to make it hers!!!
