Default Audi S7 tire help

Hello forum.

I have an Audi S7 and have 255/35/20 tires on the wheels (Audi originals). A friend has a spare set of brand new winter tires that I want to buy and I would like to know if they will fit. His winter tires are 255/40/20. Thanks for the help.

Hi M4ybe,
I'm pretty sure all model year A7/S7 come with 265/35/20 if they're on 20" wheels, not 255/35/20 which are on A6/S6

Having said that, 255/40/20 may not work, you need 255/40/19

Just spoke to Audi and they said 255/40/20's will work. As long as there isn't a larger variance than 5%.

Personally I think the 255 35 19 tire works best in terms of ride and comfort. Mine. Are hankook v12. Side wall looks less stretched as apposed to 245 version.
