Default Best place to source a front filler plate "delete"?

Hi everyone, I am looking to take off my front filler plate that has the front license plate holder and swap for the one that doesn't. Has anyone done this already and where was the best place to get one.

Thanks

I lucked out and found mine on the forum from another member; it was cheap and in perfect condition. I'd check all the forums do a search otherwise check eBay. I believe ECS Tuning also sells them.

Haven't ever done it but a quick search showed this website selling it.

I think in Canada it's possible. I remember seeing an option to have a front license place holder.

Yes. On the window sticker it's listed as "Front Filler Panel" and when you order it the option is "Deletes Front License Plate Holder." Also, you may be able to find a vehicle with the equipment you want, and with the filler panel, in a state that doesn't put license plates on the front - they generally order their inventory with the filler panel. I live in PA and we don't have front plates; the only time you'll see one on a car in stock is if they traded it from another state that requires them.

I have been told from an Audi dealer that the 2013 S7 requires a full replacement of the grill, in order to delete the plate. No aftermarket or OEM "filler plate" option. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Yes, it's possible. I ordered my S7 without the front plate holder, in Aug. It's at port, so thankfully only a couple days away. All the dealer needed was an email from me specifically requesting to remove that part. I assume that alleviates the possibility of them being liable if i get in trouble for it and try to point a finger.
