Default crankcase vacuum

We just changed the PCV/oil separator for the TSB that covers a whistle. How much vacuum should I be seeing in the crank case.

To be a bit more clear. Before replacing the PCV/oil separator with the engine at idle you could barely remove the oil cap there was so much vacuum in the crank case. After replacement its quite easy to pop the oil cap open when running at idle. There is however a decent amount of vacuum still. Is this normal on this engine? Could some one be so kind as to confirm this for me please and thank you.
