Engine Max RPM warning+EPC
Did a launch control run, the car shifted through 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear then when it came time
to shift into 4th gear the car didn't rev past 6000rpm. After that the car seemed to bounce off a red line even though the red line is at ~6500rpm, and a warning came up saying "Max Engine RPM reached (6000 rpm)" and the EPC light came on. The car wasn't in manual mode and I kept the gas pedal floored but it still didn't shift and kept slowing down. Does anyone know what this could mean, I am going to go to the dealership and will have them take a look at it but in the mean team I'd like to hear your guys' input.
