Default My new S7

My new s7, three days old. Traded a 15 S5, and sold my treasured 08 S6.

I looked hard for this car - most are very heavily optioned but this has everything I wanted, (Sport, Driver Assistance and Optic packages), nothing I didn't. It is amazing how many cars here had the cold weather package. In Southern California?? C'mon!! What we need is the warm weather package. My 08 S6 had it.

What have you done about the front license plate mount/grill on your car? When you remove the front plate mount, it is ugly under there. I changed the grill on the S6 for that reason but what do we do about that on the current S7's

On the S7, you need to change the grill. The A7 and SQ5 are the only ones that have the big alignment holes in the grille for the front brackets.

And amazing how few come with a heated wheel in the Northeast. I love the feature, no one had it. so I took what I could get. I didn't want to do a factory order.

Good luck with yours. Looks awesome!

Incorrect.

For the S7 with numberplate mounting, you can swap out the numberplate mounting and put a filler plate in, that looks just like the rest of the grill. In fact if your in a state that does not legally require a front plate, the dealer should have supplied the filler plate and removed the licence plate mount. He was being lazy by not doing that - Id ask him.....

Heres the EKTA link for the part (Check with the dealer which one suits you as there are a few colour/finish options.

Jkwelsh is right! You need a filler panel. The part is around $285 bucks and obviously the reason it wasn't ordered with the filler panel is because we are in CA and its required.

Congrats on the beautiful purchase! I still miss my '07 S6, and the fact that they were so rare.. I enjoyed every minute in the driver's seat in that car.
