Just took delivery this past week of S7 Beautiful special order Daytona Grey. Last Audi a black S5
So happy to be out of black car into this beauty- really shows the lines!!
The wheels add to it's stunning looks- are same as on RS 5, just a bit bigger

My last two cars have been silver (1997 MB E420, 2005 Acura RL) so I wanted something different, but I know I'm too particular to own a black car (based on my friends who own black cars). I went with Quartz Gray, and while I haven't taken delivery yet, I think I made the right choice, as each time I see an A7/A6 in Quartz, it looks clean, even when it's not.

I thought about ordering Daytona, as I really like that color as well, and then I spotted this Prism Silver Crystal Effect RS5 that the dealer had just received...in the end, I decided that it was too close to my past two silver cars. The dealer also shared with me that if someone nicks or dings this special order paint, it's very hard to fix/match to the original. I love the wheels on the RS5.

Also, I included the Phantom Black S7 I spotted at a dealer the other day.

thanks for the pics, that prism silver rs5 looks sick, wish prism silver was available for the S7. I'm leaning towards one of the silvers, the black looks hard to keep clean even in the pics, and i think it hides some of the cars beautiful lines...

Steve - love the special order Daytona Gray, one of the best Audi colors available. I still don't understand why Audi didn't include it as a standard S7 color given that they sell the Prestige A7 with it. I know it's winter and the sun is low, but is the Pearl Effect exhibiting any purple undertones in the sun or is mostly gray shining through so far?

Absolutely stunning. I've wondered how the 5 spoke titatiums would look on the S7, and now I see: fabulous. Wonder how they'd be on my Phantom black? Any volunteers to do a photoshop of that setup? Congrats on one gorgeous ride. The extra wait for the daytona was well worth it.

The 2013 A7 or S7 cannot be ordered in Daytona Grey as a standard color.
Even when I ordered the car, the A7 could still be ordered in Daytona Grey and I was upset to have to pay the extra premium for this color, but loved it. This was right after Order sheets were first released and actually we thought it could be ordered in this color. I was then advised it was an Audi exclusive for the S7 and happy I paid the extra.
The grey color is not purple in my eyes.
Wheels- a bit extravagant but make the "look"
Interior has carbon fibre and black headliner which is very smart with the S7 seats.
I had a Porsche with a similar color and loved it.
[My other Audi is white so a big difference from the S7.]
PS have the OEM wheels ,20" with Pzero's on classified list

All great pics - thanks! One more request when you get a chance - do you have any pics from the front dead-on? I would love to see how the grill looks with the extra chrome and how the dark gray/black material behind the grill where the license plate mounts blends-in with the daytona gray color.

For those of you who have seen the RS7 video released today at www.worldcarfans.com , what color is that car? It appears to be "Daytona Gray Matt Effect." I'm also curious if anyone knows what "Nardo Gray" will look like?

Your Daytona Grey S7 is stunning. Wow. What a head turner. Love the wheels.

I believe the Daytona Grey color is a great color on an A7/S7. It works with the body well, and hides the bulk of the car while accentuating the lines.

Wow.

You may have the best looking Audi A7/S7 sedan ever produced. ;-)

BTW: Are those 21 inch wheels? Any wheel scrub when it is lowered?
