Rim guards
I searched the net and found two basic types. One is a solid ring and one is a piece of plastic that gets cut to fit. Both types are installed by removing the air from the tire and slipping them between the tire and rim. I also found the kits on eBay for less than $100.
I wouldn't use them and I wouldn't pay anyone $75 a wheel to have them installed if I did.
