Has anyone put an RS7 grill on a S7? Is it just plug & play? and where's a good place to get one? Also, what did the mod cost (Parts & labor)?

It depends on whether your running a facelift A7 or not.

On the pre-facelift S7/RS7 you could swap over without too many issues (cut off a few tabs to make it fit)

On the facelift (2016) S7/RS7 the grills have very different mounting points, but its still doable if you modify the RS7 grill (there is a lot more cutting to make it fit the S7)

Ive not seen any aftermarket grills for the 2016MY yet, so you only have OEM available for now - and they are way expensive....

There are a few aftermarket options for the pre-facelift S7, so a lot cheaper to purchase.

Lots of conversation about the grills here, but can anyone post an actual link to an RS7 grill that accommodates the front camera/park assist...i.e. eBay? A grill you actually have purchased and have on your car please.

Here's a pic of mine.. The grille comes with the Audi ring backing to accomodate the Night Vision camera, and can accept your stock silver rings. It comes with gloss black rings. Aesthetically, it's the closest i have seen to the OEM RS7 grille
Got it from Dubstop in Mass. He's on ebay..

How hard was the install? Did you find directions on removing/installing the bumper cover?

i had my Audi tech install it, and he did remove the bumper cover..and sprayed some black paint on the silver crash bar behind the grille to camouflage it.

I bought mine from ebay for $180 and paid a guy $150 to install. Took the whole bumper out and spray painted crash bar with Rust olueum Black gloss spray paint (primer+paint).
Also took it off that plastic gray part which is not needed.
