S6 zero to 60 in 3.7 seconds
 

Has anyone seen the Audi commerical with the S6 going from 0- 60 in 3.7.Audi put the comerical out but why do they say the car is a 4.5 second. Dont make sense!!

Ok found it....

Car and Driver magazine published the 3.7 second zero to sixty time. Audi based the advertisement off of that statement.

That's damn fast, what a beast.

You wonder how many runs Car& Driver did to get that number? Im hoping more than 1

They don't say how many runs. I would assume that they published the fastest time. They did use launch control.

They might of been questioned about the 0-60 time. They estimated when reporting on the S7 in May 2012.
"With help from the transmission’s launch-control function, we estimate the 0-to-60-mph sprint will take around four seconds, which is a considerable improvement from the A7’s 5.1-second time."

Whatever the numbers are, both cars are fast.

Motor Trend tested the Audi S7 and they reported a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds. It appears that both the S6 and S7 are posting significantly better 0-60 times than Audi initially quoted.

Audis are always under rated and BMWs are always over rated.
