S7 Head Curtain Airbag Recall - Repair Not Available Yet
I did not receive a notice but as I was registering my 2017 S7 as per customer care tech specialist to make the AudiConnect work, I've checked if any out of curiosity. It states that the head curtain airbag is not folded properly (manufacturing defect) which results not being deployed properly as it was intended.

Spoke to the Svc Mgr at my dealer yesterday. Parts are arriving at dealers for them to start training on the procedure. Headliner will have to be removed. My dealer will "learn" on some of their in - stock vehicles and then begin recall work on customer vehicles.
Fix coming soon.

While I'm anxious to get my car, maybe I'll tell them to repair someone else's car first!
He also mentioned that my repair might be done by Thursday or Friday of this coming week, June 29th/30th. Did the service manager indicate any dates beyond "soon?"

I am still getting "not available" from local to me dealers. AudiUSA says it is in between me and the dealers and they have nothing to do with. I called, I put in writing but the position is the same; we don't own the dealerships, call your dealer, the parts are available, your local dealer will complete the necessary work.
I don't wish anyone to get injured but if an occupant in one of those vehicles get involved in a collision in which the overhead curtain airbags required to deploy but they don't effectively due to the improper folding of the bag, AudiUSA would have some explaining to do about knowingly and willingly denying their role in keeping "dangerously" unsafe vehicles on the road presenting a high risk of head injury.

Had them replaced yesterday finally. As I was picking the car up, been told that this was an "intermediary" recall and there will be another one once it becomes available. Good to know, after the fact.
