S7 Oil Consumption

Have any of you had the same oil consumption issues that the 2.0L v6 Audi engines are having? It sounds miserable having to check you oil every gas fill up

Probably the wrong place to ask this question. This is the S7 board so people motoring around with twin turbo V8s. Perhaps post in the A6 (C7) forum.

I'm actually looking to buy an S7. I'm trying to see if people with an S7 are having the same problems with oil consumption as the owners of the A4/6

Apologies... My bad for misreading your question. I haven't heard of any, but let's see what the rest of the board thinks

2016 S7 with 3900 miles and no oil usage. Still very new but it hasn't used any oil during break-in....

my B6 S4 needed oil every ~1400 miles or so, but i haven't added any to my S7 yet (though i too am pretty low mileage so far)

I have about 13,500 miles on my 2016 S7 and it's all good!

I have about 12,000 miles. Used 1.5 litres to top up so far.

I just took my S7 in for my 5K service today and yesterday I got a low oil warning. I was 1.5 quarts low. Im not reading too much into it as I have driven the crap out of it and traditionally there can be more consumption of the "break in oil". I guess we will see during my next 10k miles.

Also just to note the S7 doesn't have a dipstick and you wouldn't have to check the oil level all the time as it is all done electronically.

Granted I've only had 1 completely new car in my life but I've never had to carry oil with me to top it off. It seems worrisome to me
