Was at the bird on Christmas day while it was puking snow (and windy as hell)
Also on Saturday, had to work a bit more for the powder, but still great times.
Hoping this storm tomorrow night doesn't disappoint.

Nice going nord... I got lucky with the run and the pics on Christmas Eve.
A wide open fresh line in mid-Cirque and a photographer a the bottom. Whodathunkit? I went this past Monday and got Mineral when it first opened, it was crusty on the top layer and very compacted snow. I only broke through about 6" down maybe, but it was still fun, got three runs before the ominous crowds assembled.

yeah on Saturday they opened the cirque about 10ish, while I was riding up Peruvian
was insane the number of people who were just waiting there to drop in. And oh yeah, TWO photographers waiting to take pics.

yeah, looks sucky ;-) where is that? The snow consistency in the photo
looks like how Mineral Basin was when it finally opened last Monday morning, set up and fast.
